‘Attracting New Customers Without Trying Everything’ – presented by Dave Christie
Have you tried a hundred different things to attract new customers, but still struggle to know what is actually working?
Social media, offers, events, loyalty schemes, sampling, email, local partnerships, more posting, more promotions – independent health stores are not short of ideas. The problem is often knowing where to focus.
In this practical session, Dave Christie will strip customer acquisition back to three key areas that every independent health store can work on. You’ll look at who you really want to attract, how to give them a clear reason to choose your store, and how to build simple, repeatable activity that brings new people through the door without constantly chasing the next idea.
You will leave with three clear things to focus on, practical actions you can take back into your store, and a simpler way of deciding what deserves your time. Because attracting more customers should not mean doing more of everything – it means doing the right things consistently.
Testimonials
Home after an amazing #nhtsummit – it was so good to meet so many lovely likeminded people and brands
Angela Langford
It’s great that it is a retailer only show and so all stands know that you are serious and a buyer. It was really buzzy and loads to see. Really inspiring and we will definitely be adding lots of new and exciting lines based on what we saw there. It is also a really good networking opportunity with our current brands and fellow health store owners
Jackie, Therapy Organics

The Natural Health Trade Summit is a great event for independent health food stores, it was well worth the 3hr journey and we recommend all health store owners take the opportunity to attend, it was well thought out to accommodate and support, not only the suppliers but small independent businesses
Evie Windle, New Medical Hall, Tregaron
I enjoyed being able to see different products all under one roof, being able to taste different things

This year’s NHT Summit was a pleasure to attend. It was lovely to see plenty of retailers visiting, a great opportunity to see store owners and their staff too
